Vientiane Dentist
One possibly dated source of information I was able to locate was a series of four replies to the December 4, 2008, TripAdvisor forum query Dentist in Vientiane. More recently on September 21, 2010: 2010 /sept, anyone got info on dentists in Vientiane?
Similar responses were given to the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree travel forum question that was posed on May 5, 2010: good dentist in Vientiane ? Also, on August 27, 2010: Cosmetic Dentistry in Vientiane. And just this past July 20, 2011: Reputable dentists in Vientiane.
One of the Lonely Planet responses mentioned the LAO PDR Yellow Pages (also listings here) — there are so many! It is interesting that an Udon Thani, Thailand, clinic leads the pack of both sets of listings.

Our foundation initiated a program for Lao schoolchildren to brush their teeth at school once a day. Appr. 850 brush at the same time here at a primary school in Vientiane Capital.
