Would it be safe to travel to Bangkok in June?
Hi, I like to travel to Bangkok tentatively in mid-June. How is the situation now? would it be safe to travel there in all that time? Thanks, Susan
It is likely that half a million tourists will be displayed in June. Thailand is very popular all year round. While some tourists prefer late November to early February time frame time. Even when there are demonstrations in Bangkok Tourists are not the target – the government! Thailand is a little larger than you might think. Take normal safety precautions you would in other countries, as you would on a new big city in your own country! There are many places to visit in Thailand other than just Bangkok. Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket and the islands are a destination popular. Easy to get transport to other countries near Thailand. Transportation is very good from the airport to the city, there are bus tours from the airport, new rail and taxi meters. The city has the Skytrain and the subway and taxis cheap meters.
