Note from Travel Hub Chiangmai:
Artificial climbing wall Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai was once the home to one of the biggest artificial climbing walls in Asia – The Peak, situated just off Chan Klan Road behind the night bazaar however due to an accident early in 2008 this has unfortunately been destroyed by fire.
I suppose some sites have not updated their content — and that is what I despise about sites that apply no dates to their articles. How is anyone to know how old the material is?
At any rate, you can read one such description of the Peak as viewed from The Peak Pool Bar.
However, as seems to be suggested by this unanswered post enquiry on the Ajarn Forum dated December 16, 2009, that bar itself may no longer exist: Chiang Mai’s “The Peak” climbing wall?
