Chiang Mai Smart Cooking

This could only be the SMART COOK Thai cookery school. You can read some reviews given during 2010 at TripAdvisor.
From eHow: It calls itself one of the most professional cookery schools in the old town of Chiang Mai. Class size is capped at 12 and it offers traditional Thai family style cooking in an open-air kitchen. It includes free transportation to and from your hotel within the central Chiang Mai as well as the local market tour. It teaches you how to make your own five-course Thai meals. It offers three different classes: Special, Daily, and Smart Short. Special Course starts at 1,500 baht per person. Daily Course starts at 900 baht per person. Smart Short Class starts at 700 baht per person.
U Travel 2 Chiang Mai has a nice breakdown on what to expect with Smart Cook’s courses.
A less elaborate presentation of the Smart Cook’s courses is available at ChiangmaiChimes.
I found the entry about the school on the site Enjoy Thai Food to be very perplexing. They state: There are no contact details for the school. Therefore, unless they contact us, it is doubtful we will be visiting this school.
I had no difficulty whatsoever locating Smart Cook’s website as given at the start of this post, as well as contact details, and a means of making reservations. So…what’s up?
This is a very nice review of one student’s experience from just over a year ago.
I tried to embed the first video in this apparent two-video set, but got the following message from YouTube: This video has been removed by the user.
